Winner: Le Chardonnay

With more than 50 wines by the glass and 150 bottle choices, readers know there’s a match for every palate at Le Chardonnay in Overton Square.

General manager Bill Baker says the key is always staying on top of what is new in the world of wine. “And we try to keep value in what we do; we try to stay away from having high-priced wines, and to keep ours at a reasonable level,” says Baker.

The restaurant’s cozy atmosphere, with low ceilings and dim lighting, is reminiscent of a French café.
