Most Stylish Shoes — Men

Winner: Oak Hall

Oak Hall knows how to take care of customers: After all, it has been doing so for nearly 150 years.

Opened in 1859, the store is the local exclusive carrier of such high-fashion labels as Ermengildo Zegna and Canali, as well as Gravati and Mark Nason shoes.

Bill Levy, a great-great-grandson of the founder Soloman Halle, attributes much of the longevity of Oak Hall to the values he learned from his grandfather Sol Halle. “He taught us to run the business with integrity and to be fair and honest,” says Levy, who co-owns the business, which also sells women’s clothes, with his brother Bob.

“Our store has been known as a traditional to updated traditional store for years,” says Levy. “While that is still our core, we have always tried to add fashionable clothes for our customers as tastes evolve. We are excited that our efforts have been recognized.”
