Tell me about your beagles. How can you keep them in your yard. I'm having a heck of a time with a digging beagle. She is making me miserable because she keeps tunneling escape hatches. Suggestions

Don't have a beagle - and this might look odd - but would it work to pour a narrow strip of concrete, maybe a couple of inches, at the base of the fence? I guess you would have to be careful not to let it touch the fence or you might have a problem replacing fence boards.

Have you tried an invisible fence INSIDE the perimeter of your main fence? It should work to keep BBB away from where she can dig to harm's way.
Also, despite the numerous fosters who come and go, I have been blessed to have few who wish to see what's on the 'other side'. But when someone DOES dig under, I promptly put down a bag of the quick setting 'sack-crete'. I figure eventually I will ultimately have the entire fence bottom fortified.
